Diesel Mechanic - Fleet $24 - $33
Full-time
Shift - 7pm-4am
Hours: 11pm-7:30am- Employee will train on dayshift first.
Average 40-50hrs weekly

The Fleet Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs mechanical DIESEL transportation equipment to aid in the distribution of all company products in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic preventative maintenance inspections and service on mechanical transportation equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and company guidelines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repair on mechanical transportation equipment including but not limited to electrical systems, powertrain, air, and brake systems, and suspension systems, and maintain fleet tires.
• Possess the necessary personal tools to perform duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training in general transportation equipment maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of continued education and experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A or B CDL permit & DOT within 6 months of hire
• Must have or be able to obtain all EPA licensing and/or certifications within 3 months.
• Must have or be able to obtain Brake Inspector Certification within 3 months.
• Must have or be able to obtain Annual Inspector Certification within 3 months.
