Dump body installers/mechanic.
Ft Worth, Tx · $21-30- Minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a mechanic in the industry or related experience in other mechanic work. Basic knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, mobile hydraulic systems (PTO's & pumps). MIG welding skills a plus. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and be able to work in a team environment and be punctual. Basic hand tools required. (must be able to pass a tape measure test)
- Duties and responsibilities are the installation and repair dump bodies, flatbeds, power take off systems, auxiliary lighting systems, toolboxes, and hitches, Ect. Must have ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems promptly. Basic fabrication skills such as MIG welding, plasma torch, cutting, grinding, drilling, measuring, and fabricating as needed. (a unicorn with both installs/mechanic skills AND some welding ability would be “the cat’s pajamas!
- Shop hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday thru throughay.
